Is a dating website for suicidal people a good idea? Julian Hershtik, himself the survivor of a suicide attempt, decides to find out and repair his own life in the process. He’s lost everything—apartment, girlfriend, possessions, money—after one of his software creations causes the death of an old man. Reduced to living in a hygienically challenged one-room Brighton Beach basement apartment and to working a menial job, his future looks bleak until he collaborates with three former workmates to create Let’s Go Out on a Date. The venture unexpectedly becomes a huge success, but with success comes tons of trouble.
